It has been created by its owner, Nicky in her own home to provide you with an intentional space to stop, relax and refresh mind, body and soul. It aims to build an encouraging empowering and friendly community helping create lovely things which can be treasured or gifted whilst making sure there is plenty of fun along the way.

No matter what your crafting level we promise to be with you every step of the way.  At Marthas Makery we want everyone to have an opportunity to spend time unwinding by exploring their creativity and learning new skills.  Our workshops aim to help you learn a variety of crafts and skills and we think creativity brings people together.

We strongly believe that every unique wonderfully and fearfully made individual has some creativity within them. Things made with love will always be beautiful, bringing that “something special” to both maker and receiver.

Here at the Makery we seek to encourage you to have a go and delight with you when you surprise yourself in what you can achieve. We are also known for our yummy home made cakes, which we are told help greatly too.
